My thanks to the committee for their kind invitation to judge, their hospitality and gift and especially to the exhibitors for their entries. Thank you to Richard and Kathy for stewarding and keeping the ring running smoothly. It was a very enjoyable day. Some of the dogs were carrying too much weight which spoils their outline and can affect movement, many had overlong nails.
Puppy Dog (2, 1 absent) 1st Fitzpatrick’s Lost in Translation Mature 10 month old brindle with square head, well defined cheeks, dark eyes. Muzzle is wide and padded with turn up, well placed and used ears. Well laid shoulders, pasterns could be firmer, strong neck, deep wide chest. Slightly long in loin, tail is low set. Rear is well muscled. Moved well once settled. BPD
Junior Dog (5, 2 absent) 1st McGroarty’s Dicar I’m Oslo Ardhub (Imp) Brindle with attractive outline when stacked. Square head with well set & used ears, eyes are round and dark enough. Padded muzzle is broad and deep, with upturn of jaw and defined cheeks. Arched neck, correct shoulder placement, strong pasterns, deep chest, gentle roach, low set tail and adequate hind angulation. Moved soundly to win RBD & RBIS 2nd Beale’s Cargray Mr Bojangles Pied dog with attractive markings. Square, masculine head with plenty of padding to his muzzle. Well placed and used ears. Eyes are dark but show a little white. Strong neck, well placed shoulders, deep chest, gentle roach to topline with low set tail. Sound in movement. 3rd Miles’ Lord Brock of The Forest
Yearling Dog (1, 0 absent) 1st Oliver’s Lord Brock of The Forest Brindle with square head and dark eye, uses his ears. Broad padded muzzle. Shoulders are well laid, tends to turn front foot out. Deep and wide in chest, slight roach, enough angulation to his well muscled rear. Only 13 months old and has time to settle in movement.
Post Grad Dog (2, 1 absent) 1st Miles’ Ranacani Valentino Rossi Brindle with square head, broad padded muzzle. Ears are well set and used but could be a little larger. Shoulders well placed, tends to turn front foot out and could firm in pasterns. Enough width and depth of chest, topline has gentle roach, rear is muscled with enough angulation. Moved well.
Limit Dog (1, 0 absent) 1st Howarth’s Gizyjo Sting Like a Bee Brindle that appeals in outline when stacked. Masculine head with desired wrinkling, developed cheeks, broad padded muzzle and upsweep of jaw. Enough stop, dark round eyes, ears of good size are well placed and used. Arched neck, well laid shoulders, cobby in body, slight roach and low set tail. Chest is deep and broad, he is well boned all through and in good coat and condition. Pasterns could be a little firmer. He appeared distracted at the start of the class but settled to moved soundly around the ring. Pleased to award him BD & BIS
Open Dog (2, 0 absent) 1st McGroarty’s Chivasregal Black Cuillin Ardhub Square head on this brindle with padded muzzle, upturn of jaw and enough stop. Dark eyes, ears well placed and used. Straight front, correct front angulation, broad chest. Gentle roach leading to slightly high set tail which is of good length. Enough rear angulation, moved soundly. 2nd Kasprowicz’s Daniello Easter Power Live JW ShCM Black masked fawn that has a masculine head, cobby body and plenty of bone. Wide, padded muzzle with upturn of underjaw. Deep chest, thick neck, strong loin leading to low set, short tail. Muscled rear quarters. Unsettled in movement today and body shape could be enhanced with a little less weight.

Minor Puppy Bitch (6, 0 absent) A strong class of promising puppies, 1st & 2nd are of a similar type and share the same sire 1st Lowe’s Braylah Bit A Rumpy Pumpy Pretty headed 7 month old brindle, broad and deep in muzzle, round, dark eyes and uses her ears which could be a touch higher set. Front is straight, tight feet with black nails. Chest developing well, cobby shape and gentle roach leading to low set tail which I would prefer a little longer. Moved well once settled, BPB & BPIS 2nd Murphy’s Shawrigg Pure Brilliant Another lovely 7 month old brindle and many of the same comments apply, she too pleases in head and body shape, ears are higher set than 1st. Shoulders well laid, straight in front, black nails. Gentle roach, low set small tail, decent rear end. On the day carrying a little too much weight so not as shapely as 1st and a little untidier in front movement. 3rd Porter’s Tartanpride Pleasure Room
Puppy Bitch (3, 1 absent) 1st Howarth’s Gizyjo Olivias Choice 11 month old brindle, square head with broad padded muzzle and upturn of jaw. Straight front, pasterns need to firm a little, well laid shoulders, arched neck. Dark eyes, well set and used ears. Chest developing, enough roach leading to slightly high set tail. Moved well. 2nd Oliver’s Purple Hearted Reba 8 month old dark fawn with black mask, not as balanced as winner. Square head with desired wrinkle, well set and used ears. Chest deep and broad, enough neck, gentle roach. Longer in loin than I prefer and tail slightly high set. Moved well.
Junior Bitch (4, 0 absent) 1st Beale’s Cargray Diamonds and Pearls 12 month brindle with attractive head, round eyes of dark colour, deep broad muzzle with turn up, well set and used ears. Straight in front, correct shoulder placement, cobby body with roach, short tail present. Enough rear angulation, moved well. 2nd Adam’s Lorrosa Love Shack at Carkennar Brindle with wide padded muzzle, defined cheeks and well set ears, eyes are round but could be a shade darker. Chest is deep, front straight, enough neck. Rear angles correct, moved well. Not as cobby as 1st. 3rd Howarth’s Gizyjo Miss Goody
Yearling Bitch (1, 0 absent) 1st Borecka’s Camea Mademoisell Cloe Brindle, square head, padded, broad muzzle and turned up jaw. Round, dark eyes, uses her well set ears. Deep chest, turns front feet out slightly, short strong body, gentle roach and enough angulation in rear. I would prefer a little more bone all through. Moved well.
Post Grad Bitch (4, 1 absent) 1st Porter’s Tartanpride Pleasure Me Fawn in lovely condition. Square head, wide and padded muzzle, defined stop, round eyes all giving appealing expression. Straight front, with strong pasterns, well laid shouldes, arched neck, cobby body with roach. Short, low set tail. I would prefer more cut up. Her movement won her the class. 2nd Cox’s Franstelgo’s Illuminations Black masked fawn, not as balanced as 1st as shorter on leg. Head is square with well set ears that she doesn’t always use to advantage, broad muzzle and good turn up. Strong pasterns, well laid shoulders, slightly long in loin, short, low set tail. 3rd Miles’ Ranacani She’s The One
Limit Bitch (5, entries 1 absent) 1st Burgin’s Tartanpride Tease Me Jessiemai Fawn bitch with black mask that appealed in expression and body shape. Round, dark eyes correctly set in her square head, well set and used ears. Muzzle is broad and padded with good upturn of lower jaw and defined cheeks and stop. Straight, well boned front legs with strong pasterns. Broad, deep chest and cobby body is well cut up. Gentle roach, short low set tail. Correct rear angulation. Moved soundly, on the day I felt the males had slightly better front assembly. I was pleased to award her BB & BOS 2nd Lowe’s Braylah Tempest Storm Pretty headed brindle, with dark eyes and well set and used ears. Straight in front, strong pasterns. Deep, wide chest, decent shoulder placement. Cobby body with cut up and slight roach, short, low set tail. Moved well. 3rd Ross’ Caslblak’s Vini Vidi Vici with Franstelgo
Open Bitch (7, 3 absent) 1st Sharp-Dixon & Reyes’ Gwynsel Crazy In love With Queenslake Brindle with attractive head, dark round eyes, erect bat ears that are well used. Deep, broad muzzle with padding. Straight front with neat feet, nails need attention. Cobby profile shape, deep broad chest, gentle roach and cut up. Rear is angulated and muscled. Front movement could be better. 2nd McGroarty’s Chivasregal Dirty Dancer Ardhub Brindle, square head with broad padded muzzle. Ears are used but not as well set as 1st, dark eyes. Straight front, dark nails, well laid shoulders. Deep chest, slightly longer in loin and preferred the topline of winner. 3rd Porter’s Tartanpride Eyez On Me
Veteran Bitch (4, 2 absent) 1st Howarth’s Gizyjo Miss Frederique 10 year old brindle enjoying her day. Feminine head, broad muzzle, upturn of lower jaw, round dark eyes. Her ears are well set and used, defined stop. Straight front with strong pasterns, well laid shoulders, strong neck, gentle roach. Tail is low set and rear quarters well muscled. Moved well and still has a ‘spring in her step’. Pleased to award her BVIS 2nd Kasprowicz’s Gold-Sierra Minnie (Imp) Fawn with black mask, 8 years old. Attractive head, broad muzzle, ears correctly placed and used. Strong pasterns, straight front, gentle roach and low set tail. Willing on the move, she was carrying far too much weight on the day.
Special Open Fawn Bitch (4, 1 absent) 1st Burgin’s Tartanpride Tease Me Jessiemai 2nd Miles’ Ranacani She’s The One Black mask, dark eyes, bat ears well used. Muzzle is broad, deep and padded, upturned underjaw, enough wrinkling to head. Cobby outline and cut up, straight pasterns, strong neck. Gentle roach, tail could be a little lower set. Moves a touch wide in front, showed well for her young handler. 3rd Oliver’s Purple Hearted Reba
